Pierre grew up in a Christian home in South Africa and at the age of 28 decided to travel to England on a two-year working holiday. Two years turned into nine years during which time Pierre met his wife, Heili. They decided to get married and start a family in NZ. They arrived in 2007 and shortly thereafter they had three kids, who they are now home-schooling. They lived in Tauranga for 15 years, then decided to move south to Tasman where they now live. Pierre has a background in Finance and IT Systems.

Pierre and his family love Israel and its people. Their entire family travelled to Israel for 4 weeks in April 2023. They loved it because the place and the people bring so much enlightenment to the scriptures. Pierre’s role at Celebrate Messiah is Regional Coordinator for the Planet Zula App. The App will bring NZ Hosts and Israeli Travelers together. Pierre will be the face of Planet Zula in NZ and the first point of call for NZ Hosts and Israeli Travelers.
